Our purpose is to improve our residents’ quality of life; continuously, smartly and efficiently. And our Community Vision is to be a community that is liveable, valuing nature, engaged, prosperous, innovative and connected .

The City of Marion is located 10km south of Adelaide with a population of approximately 95,000 residents and it has 7km of coastline.
Volunteering with the City of Marion greatly enhances the services that we provide and plays a vital role in creating the vibrant community in Marion that we all enjoy so much.
Our volunteers, representing diverse backgrounds and all parts of our community, share a passion to positively affect our community. Our volunteers are recognised and celebrated for their capability, capacity and diversity.
It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from, every one of us can make a difference through volunteering.
