Support The Girls Australia

Our mission is to empower disenfranchised, vulnerable and isolated women and girls by providing them with fitted bras, essential products and the support needed to reach their full potential.

Support The Girls Australia is a charity that is all about supporting all women and girls across QLD and NSW. We create safe spaces where any women+ or girl can come along and be supported with a morning tea, professional Bra Fitting and receive new bras, underwear and toiletries.

Our events have two purposes assisting women who are financial struggling to make ends meet but also get women out of social isolation. We are all about mental health and providing a positive experience. We also work in rural communities where we do the same thing. We host Bra Gifting events in remote farming or indigneous communities and empower the women. We work alongside BreastScreen NSW and host Bra Gifting events alongside BreastScreen NSW where indigenous women can come and get screened and supported in a safe cultural space.

We have just been awarded the Excellence in Aboriginal Healthcare Award in July by the Southern NSW Healthcare for the work we have done in the last six months. We have taken the mammogram participation rate for indigenous women from 2% to 68% in six months and have professionally fitted over 250 indigenous women. We operate across QLD and NSW.
