Bedfordshire Hospitals Charity supports the work of the Luton and Dunstable University Hospital and Bedford Hospital.

Whether it’s through fundraising, donating your time as a volunteer or taking part in our hospital lottery, your generosity is very much appreciated and has helped thousands of patients and their families.

We support both the Luton & Dunstable and Bedford
Hospital sites with volunteering opportunities that enhance the experience
of patients, staff, and visitors to the hospital, in a huge variety of
non-clinical roles.

Volunteering is a great way to give back to the local community and it also
ensures the smooth running of the hospital operations on a day to day basis. It
can benefit both the volunteer and the organisation a great deal. We are
honoured to have such a loyal and dedicated team of volunteers who give around
40,000 hours of their time each year. We are so grateful to our volunteers and
regularly invite them to social events to say a little thank you for their
commitment.
