Citizens Advice Leighton Linslade

Our mission is to give local people the advice, knowledge and the confidence that they need to find their way forward - whoever they are, and whatever their problem. We provide free, confidential and impartial advice, education, sign-posting and advocacy. We address issues of financial exclusion such as poverty and debt, health, disability, and bureaucracy. We help our clients to understand their rights and obtain fair treatment. We raise awareness of issues arising in our local community with relevant agencies/government bodies through our “Research & Campaigns” advocacy. Integral to all we do is embracing diversity, promoting equality and challenging discrimination.

We are an independent charity funded through grants and donations. We provide local people with free, confidential and impartial advice, education, sign-posting and advocacy - whoever they are, and whatever their problem. We help our clients to understand their rights and obtain fair treatment and, where possible, enable them to become more self-sufficient. We also work to influence the policies and practices which affect local lives through our “Research & Campaigns” advocacy, led by a paid member of staff. Our team of trained volunteers and paid specialist money advisers provide one-to-one advice sessions five days per week by telephone, online and face-to-face at our office in Leighton-Linslade.
