Friends of Onkaparinga Park

To protect and preserve the Onkaparinga River National and Recreation Parks through dedicated conservation efforts. We aim to foster community engagement, promote environmental awareness, and ensure the park remains a place of natural beauty for future generations.

Friends of Onkaparinga Park Inc. (FOOP), established in 1986, is a volunteer organisation dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the Onkaparinga River National Park and Recreation Park. Our activities include environmental conservation efforts such as weed and erosion control, seed collecting, and walking trail maintenance. With over 100 members, we work to preserve the natural beauty of the park while encouraging community involvement through social activities, research, and public events.
