Starting a recycling hub (also called a recycling collection point) involves collecting recyclable materials at school or home and taking them to / getting them collected by a recycler to reduce waste

The role

If you care deeply for the environment and want to make a difference to the amount of waste going into landfill you can start a recycling collection point at home or school!

By engaging in this volunteer project you can feel proud that you are doing your bit to save energy and reduce greenhouse gases. Your role will require you to research what waste you could divert from landfill by creating a collection point (or a hub) and connecting the collected items to a source that can recycle them.
