We seek a volunteer to coordinate Gecko Talks to be held at Currumbin RSL on the 4th Wed of each month from 6 - 8 p.m. The talks will align topics with Gecko’s vision, and raise community awareness.

The role

The role (approx. 4 hrs/week) includes attending the Gecko talks.
Duties include booking speakers; liaising and communicating with Currumbin RSL; preparing promotional details; being proficient with relevant computer software; liaising with Gecko reps to introduce speakers; create and maintain records. We need a multi-tasker who builds rapport, plans events, communicates with stakeholders & is an independent team member interested in promoting environmental awareness within the community.
