Join our team of passionate Community Visitors who give their time, skills and energy to making a difference in the lives of people living with a disability or mental health condition.
CVs are trained volunteers who work in pairs to visit & inspect mental health and disability services. During visits & inspections, CVs engage with clients to hear their views, voice and experiences in relation to their care & treatment. CVs also engage with staff to understand the opportunities and challenges of service delivery that impact on the client. During the visit, CVs may identify areas for service follow up and improvement, that are detailed in their post visit report.
Visits take place during business hours - many CVs work or study part-time and/or have retired.
