Social Support Volunteers at MND Queensland play a vital role in providing support for all those affected by MND. Either in person, virtual or telecare.
Emotional Support: Offer a compassionate and empathetic presence to individuals living with MND and their families.
Social Support: Organise a catch up face to face or online, build social engagement and social engagement through outings, or other interactions.
Practical Support: By supporting individuals with practical help - basic yard services, respite, technology assistance, virtual and telecare support.
The time commitment for all volunteers are flexible and some roles can be done from your home.
