Experienced Handyman/Carpenter needed for window repairs in a 100yr old building. Must have a passion for restoration. Flexible timeframe. Gecko is a Volunteer Based Environment Council founded 1989.
Our building, which was the Currumbin Primary School until the 1960's is well used by the community and includes a community hall, a shared workspace and our office. The building's beautiful sash windows require some attention including adjustments to the working mechanisms and the aesthetics. We are looking for someone who has an appreciation for historical buildings and their maintenance. There is a flexible timeline with options to work on-site or in your space. All material costs covered.
