Are you passionate about helping orphaned wildlife live long and happy lives? Wildlife carers could use your help making pouches to keep their rescues safe, warm and settled.
When young wombats, wallabies, kangaroos, bandicoots, gliders or possums come into care they need to be kept warm and quiet. Many pouch patterns are beginner-friendly, learn to sew and help wildlife at the same time!
To participate you will need to do some research, pick a pouch pattern, identify (and source) any equipment or materials you'll need, then its time to sew your chosen pouches! When you are done, you donate the pouches to animal carers and rescuers in need!
More information / DIY Guide sent via email. Suitable for under 18s with support of trusted adults.
