If you are interested in bird watching and are looking for a way to channel your interest to help conservationists monitor and protect birdlife, we have a cool opportunity for you!

The role

So, you see a bird and you want to document it - great! Bird watchers focus on observing and submitting data / surveys (information about bird sightings) Australia wide, this info is used to achieve real conservation aims within BirdLife Australia, and by many groups across the country!

You can join a program with specific goals (like focusing on nesting sites and numbers of fledglings in a particular area) or you can simply record any sightings you may come across in your day-to-day life!
