Become an ACVVS volunteer to provide friendship and companionship to aged care recipients of residential care or home care who are socially isolated. (Various locations available in South East QLD)
The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme is an initiative by the Australian Federal Government and Department of Health that aims to improve the quality of life for aged care residential or home care recipients who are socially isolated.
Visits should be conducted at regular intervals throughout the year (minimum 1 hour a fortnight) and be
conducted in person (face-to-face). Volunteers engaged by Footprints Community ACVVS must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Police Check, NDIS Workers Screening Check, Vaccinations + additional requirements will be emailed
