Our Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme aims to reduce loneliness and isolation experienced by older Australians. You can be part of the solution by offering your time and talents.
As part of our Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme, we are looking for volunteers to give one hour each week (minimum 10 wks) to spend time with a small group of residents in Aged Care facilities. The visits will be relaxed and social. We seek volunteers who have empathy for seniors and socially isolated people and who are happy to talk about, and discuss news, current affairs and other topics.
On-line training must be undertaken as well as complying with WHS training if required.
