Join us in making meaningful connections and brightening the lives of patients' in our hospital community by reducing loneliness as a Companion Club Volunteer.
Companion Volunteers provide non-clinical conversation and a friendly ear through
listening to and talking with patients, checking to see if they need help with anything,
walk with ambulatory patients within the hospital when appropriate. You may also, with the support of clinical staff facilitate diversional and social activities with patients including (but not limited to) painting, drawing, cards, puzzles.
You must be comfortable initiating conversation and interacting with a diverse range of people.
