The Treasurer is the chief Financial Officer for VRDA and is responsible for the daily administration of financial accounts. You would join the team to help with a variety of duties. MYOB skills req.
The Treasurer prepares the yearly budget, monitors income/expenditure, including account duties of keeping, planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting. Maintains accurate and up to date financial accounts and legislation, presents financial reports at Committee Meetings and advises committee on financial strategy, planning and management. Another duty will be keeping an accurate record of all payments and monies received including cash/cheques to be receipted and deposited in the bank.
Training with current Treasurer. This can be a predominantly work from home position.
