Are you an aspiring or amateur mycologist? (a person interested in mushrooms and fungi). The Fungimap of Australia would love your support reporting sightings of mushrooms and fungi!
Through INaturalist (a website and phone app) you can start your journey as an amateur mycologist!
The Fungimap of Australia relies on citizen scientists across Australia who upload images of fungi and mushrooms with written descriptions including where they were found, what substrate they were found in, the date etc. There are already more than 30,000 records of fungi in the iNaturalist Fungimap Australia project provided by users as young as 13 years of age!
