Do you love to have a chat? Are you a caring and compassionate person? We seek volunteers to assist with our BAVIA House social club for seniors and would love to hear from you!
We seek kind and compassionate volunteers to keep our members engaged in conversation, assist with memory activities, read correspondence, assist with serving morning teas/lunch, plus clean up afterwards. Keeping our members socially involved is personally rewarding and also makes their day. You will need a good sense of boundaries and confidentiality and have good communication skills to meet the needs of members with visual challenges.
