Become a volunteer and bring your good natured and well trained dog to visit our BlueCare residential facilities at Elanora and Kirra weekly/fortnightly. Volunteer to change lives/yours included.
The role is to help improve the wellbeing of residents through positive interaction with visiting volunteers and their dog. You will conduct each visit in a competent, caring manner by ensuring the dog is washed/groomed before each visit with up to date worming, flea treatments and vaccinations. You will need to clean up after your dog when/if required. No previous experience in Aged Care is required, but ability to connect with the frail aged and elderly is imperative.
National Police /NDIS check pd by BlueCare. A dedicated volunteer coordinator will assist volunteer
