Become a volunteer and bring your good natured and well trained dog to visit our BlueCare residential facilities across the Lower Gold Coast. Tallebudgera, Elanora and Coolangatta weekly/fortnightly.
The role is to help improve the wellbeing of residents through positive interaction with visiting volunteers and their dog. You will conduct each visit in a competent and caring manner by always cleaning up after your dog; ensure the dog is washed and groomed before each visit with up to date with worming, flea treatments and vaccinations. Letter from Vet required about temperament and suitability. A dedicated volunteer coordinator will assist you on your volunteering journey.
National Police Check, NDIS screening. Dog must be able to perform basic commands.
