We are looking for Male Volunteers for Our Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme which aims to reduce loneliness and isolation experienced by older Australians.

The role

As part of our Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme, we are looking for male volunteers to give one hour each week (minimum 10 wks) to spend time with a small group of residents or individuals in Aged Care facilities. The visits will be relaxed and social. We seek volunteers who have empathy for seniors and socially isolated people and who are happy to talk about, and discuss news, current affairs and other topics. Online training must be undertaken as well as complying with WHS training if req.

Proof of Covid 19 and Influenza vaccinations in accordance with Government guidelines
