This rewarding and enjoyable volunteer role could be the one for you, where you can make a real difference assisting a driver to transport older adults in and around our community.
You are supported by a skilled team who provide you with a thorough workplan: you pick up a modern, well-maintained Council vehicle and head out for most of the day. You help a driver with navigation, parking and attending to clients. Together, you will pick up and drop off clients for shopping, appointments and outings as well as making deliveries of frozen meals. Can you commit to one day a week helping residents to maintain independence, and are interested in ongoing training opportunities?
You need a moderate level of fitness, and we help you to obtain any missing requirements at no cost.
