We seek dedicated individuals with boat handling skills to join our team as Volunteer Support Boat Skippers. This pivotal role plays a crucial part in the success of SYC sailing and racing events.
Responsibilities include On-water support, Course-marking and Emergency response. The volunteer will require a valid boat licence, skills at handling boats and has an understanding of sailing events. There are opportunities for growth into advanced positions. As you connect with passionate people in the sailing community you will gain experience in supporting sailing events. We will provide training for your role and you will have access to other training courses like advanced boat handling.
First Aid and CPR Certification req'd (or be willing to attain it). VGC recruits for this role.
