Take up one of these various roles involving driving and help to make a difference to an elderly persons quality of life, meet new people, and have some fun!
Shopping Assistants: Volunteers will pick up clients from their home using their own vehicle and take them out to do their shopping. It may also be combined with a social outing where volunteers and clients enjoy a coffee and cake!
Social Support Assistants: Involves volunteers using their own vehicles to pick up clients from their home and to take them to medical appointments or attend social support programs.
You don't need to have previous experience or skills to apply for these roles!
Training provided. Volunteers are reimbursed for mileage if using own vehicle.
