Our Reception staff play a vital role in creating a welcoming/supportive environment for everyone who visits the centre. The volunteer will manage all phone calls.
Assist all incoming clients and phone calls to the service and assist with referrals to other services, using Apps and current spreadsheets. Update the Community spreadsheet and utilize organisation tools to track data on service access. Assist clients to access food pantry and ensure shared areas are tidy, welcoming, and brochures are up to date. Communicate with staff regarding any waiting clients and take messages where needed. Provide client empathy and have a warm and caring approach.
We require you to be able to commit to regular shifts, remain non- judgemental and have a blue card.
