Salvos' Drive for Life provides the cars, insurance and professional lessons/instructors, the volunteer provides their time and goodwill in accompanying a young learner complete their practice hours!

The role

We are looking for passionate people to help our young people get through the licencing process. The Volunteer Driver Mentor will be required to sit in the car with program participants and reinforce safe driving skills. (Salvation Army vehicles are provided and the use of personal cars will not be needed). Opportunities are available in Stafford and Lawnton. Role suitable for Centrelink applicants.

Need to know

Criminal History Check, QLD Blue Card, a valid drivers license and able to provide 2 references
