U3A is a national, not for profit organization that provides life-long educational opportunities for senior citizens. Our branch is located in Labrador, on the Gold Coast.
We are looking for mature persons to maintain a welcoming presence in the office, answer
the phone, deal with email messages, assist tutors in setting up classes, put out refreshments, and ensure all rooms are left tidy. This person or persons would be required to volunteer their time 1 or more days per week for either a 6 hour or 3 hour shift (your choice). We aim to provide this service between 9am and 3pm Monday to Friday ONLY in the Queensland school terms - not the school holidays.
Basic office skills and average computer competence. No specific software skills are required.
