St Jude's Aged Care Volunteer Visitor program is currently seeking a male volunteer who has a friendly manner & who is into computers and IT, to visit an elderly man in the Marion/Holdfast Bay area.
Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS) volunteers are part of a national, government funded program that recognises how important companionship and connection are to us all, no matter our age. Volunteers are recruited & supported by a local ACVVS Coordinator and meet regularly with an older person, to whom they are matched on the basis of personality and interests. Volunteers do not require any aged care skills or experience, but do need to have genuine respect and empathy for older people.
National Police Clearance Required. Minimum Commitment 12 months.
