U3A Southport offers classes to our members, who are retired or semi-retired. The tutor should have some qualifications or experience relating to Self Defence particularly for seniors.
The tutor for Self Defence will share their knowledge and expertise with class members who are generally 50+ and often live alone. Basic skills in self-defence and keeping safe are the main priority. The class would be held at the Southport Community Centre in Lawson Street Southport. Weekly class times are dependent on the Tutor’s and room’s availability at the Community Centre over 2 Semesters - Mon 5th Feb to Fri 28th June & Mon 28th July to Fri 6th Dec 2024. No classes on Public Holidays.
