This role is ideal for anyone passionate about food, teamwork, and supporting the community. Volunteers will assist in preparing and serving community lunches.

The role

This role supports the kitchen team in preparing and serving meals while ensuring all kitchen duties are performed efficiently and in line with food safety standards and allows volunteers to have an opportunity to train under a qualified chef. Time commitment is 9 am - 3 pm. Prepare and serve meals in a timely and efficient manner. Prepare dining areas for meal service, Clean up after meals, including tables, chairs, and meal areas, Good communication skills and ability to work independently.

Need to know

Must attend Centre Induction and complete Safe Food Handling.
