The ACVVS is a free service that aims to improve the quality of life for aged care residential or home care recipients who are experiencing loneliness or social isolation in the Playford area

The role

For as little as one hour per fortnight you can have a profound impact on the life of an older person living at home or in a residential aged care facility. To join our team you need to be aged 18+ mature, empathic, kind, have good communication & listening skills. ACVVS Volunteers are matched to a recipient with the aim of building a long-lasting relationship which allows the recipient to feel more connected to their wider community.

A National Police Check Certificate is necessary before commencing this role
