Finding volunteering opportunities on FreddyMatch is a straightforward process. Here's a step-by-step guide:

• Log in to your account or sign up if you don't have one already.
• On the homepage, you can enter optional keywords in the search box, then click on the Explore button.
• Browse through the available opportunities or use the filter section on the left side (or tap '+' on the top right if you're on a smartphone/tablet) to refine your search.
• If you find an opportunity that interests you, click on the listing to review the details and ensure it aligns with your desired role.
• At the bottom of the opportunity page, click on 'APPLY NOW' to submit your application form.
• The organisation offering the opportunity will review your application and contact you with their decision.
• If needed, you can edit or withdraw your application at any time.

Once you submit an application, the organisation will receive it and proceed with the review process. They will be in contact with you about their decision. In some cases, organisations may require an interview to further assess your skills and get to know you better.

Please note that many of our organisations are nonprofit organisations run by volunteers, so it may take some time to review applications.

We kindly ask for your patience during this process. If you have not heard back from the organisation within 7 days of applying, we recommend reaching out to them directly. You can find their contact details on their profile page or in the application form.

It is recommended to choose your top two or three opportunities to express your interest. By doing so, you can avoid overwhelming organisations and prioritise your selections. It's best to wait and hear back from them before expressing interest in additional opportunities.

In Australia, there is no lower age limit for volunteering. However, it's important to note that each organisation may have its own specific age requirements. We recommend referring to the opportunity listing or contacting the organisation directly if the age requirement is not specified. They will provide you with the necessary information regarding age eligibility for volunteering with their organisation.
