Mustangs Baseball Townsville Inc is looking for people who want to learn more about the game of baseball and try out umpiring for the season.
Umpiring (or refereeing) is a fun way to get involved in baseball without playing. Umpires don't have to have played before. They get full training and support, start at very entry level games to learn and practice. Umpires also get a meal at the canteen and small stipend for their time.
Games are 2 hours on a Sunday so very low commitment.
All equipment is generally provided, umpires may have to go out and get their own box/cup/groin protector just for hygiene reasons.
Role is very inclusive. Dont have to come with any competencies of the game. Just keen to learn.
