DigiVol is a groundbreaking museum collections digitisation project powered by citizen scientists, people like you.
Volunteers join virtual expeditions from institutions around the world, including the Australian Museum. You can transcribe content contained in collection labels, historical documents or even identify animals. By doing this you are giving access to a global community of researchers, scientists and data analysts to analyse data. The information continues to have real-world effects by helping experts unlock the secrets of biodiversity, protect the environment and tackle climate change.
Volunteers work remotely using DigiVol Online.
