The purpose of this role is to provide Pastoral Care by being a listening presence and supporting the social, emotional and spiritual needs of the people we serve, their families and caregivers.
Provide compassionate care through prayer, spiritual support, faith, hope and love. May include worship, liturgies, sacraments, prayer, scripture, rituals and spiritual practices that are framed within a person’s faith, heritage and faith community.
Must be willing to undertake training relevant to the role before commencing. This will include the C.A.R.E Essentials course delivered online over 8 weeks for 90 minutes per session followed by ongoing mentoring from a BlueCare Chaplain.
Being available to residents and their families, staff and other workers, volunteers and visitors.
