A Master of Ceremonies is required for each of the Eisteddfod venues to act as Compere. They will be tasked with introducing competitors and promoting all things Gold Coast Eisteddfod.

The role

Gold Coast Eisteddfod is a community youth cultural competition in music, dance and drama. The event runs over 8 weeks at various venues on the Gold Coast. The Master of Ceremonies at a particular venue will introduce school groups - Bands and Instrumental groups, Choirs, Speech Choirs and Dance Groups and individual competitors in Vocal, Strings Wind Brass, Piano, Speech & Drama, Dance, Vocal and Young People with Disability. Venue roles will usually be rostered on a 3-4hour shift.
