Enjoy shopping? We are looking for a happy-go-lucky volunteer to assist/walk with residents as they shop at The Pines Shopping Centre. Bus travel provided to/from Pines and Tallebudgera site.
You will walk with/assist residents as they do their own shopping (not banking or personal tasks) by taking them into different stores, reaching for items if required and sometimes pushing a wheelchair and generally making their shopping experience enjoyable. The Diversional Therapist will be in attendance. Volunteers can combine this role with other roles within the Bluecare facility if hours are required for Centrelink. A dedicated BlueCare Coordinator will help you every step of the way.
Co-ordinator can support onboarding and training. Yellow Card & Police Check req'
