Could you be a Pastoral Care Volunteer? Providing for the spiritual and individual needs of the people in our care and assisting with church services held at the residential facility.
Any active and endorsed member of a local Christian congregation can apply to become a Pastoral Care Volunteer. Previous experience or training is not essential.
Prospective Pastoral Care Volunteers will meet with the Blue Care Chaplain and all relevant training is provided prior to commencement.
Tasks include, but are not limited to, meeting with residents, providing feedback to the Chaplain, supporting regular Church Services held at the residential facility and reporting any concerns.
Available: Labrador; COVID vaccine and Police Check required.
